Many hours of labour was spent on the car and I have probably missed a few things, but you are more than welcome to see the paper work (I have a large folder full of receipts).
For the past 2 years, all work has been carried out by Mark Fish to an extremely high standard and any questions about the mechanical integrity of the car past what I have said can be verified by him.
The previous owner had the Williams in storage for about 5 years while he was travelling, hence the low mileage. I looked long and hard for a Williams, and this is one of the best examples I have seen, condition wise and definitely performance wise. The body work is in good condition, very very slight rust starting to come through on the bottom of the driver's door. No rust on the arches, which is uncommon for these cars. The wheels are also in good condition, could do refurb to get back to perfect but they are straight and true. The interior is in excellent condition, with no rips, burns or stains.
Bad bits, every car has them! Thin Scratch on driver's side rear quarter, it was there when I brought the car but is not that noticeable (I will get a pic), Stone chips on the bonnet which is unavoidable. Passenger side window is slow on the up and the passenger side switch is temperamental, but driver's side works fine. I only got one key with the Williams. The oil level gauge is temperamental (I think it's a loose wire).
I have tried to be as honest as possible and list everything I can remember; although I'm sure I have forgotten some things. Anyone looking for one of these should know what a Williams is all about and what I am selling. I'm not going to accept silly offers, I would rather put it back in storage, and ideally, I would really like it to go to an enthusiast, someone who will take care of her. I have always tried to maintain the car as best I can and in the last 3 years I have spent ££££ on parts alone. I will be sad to see her go, cos I wanted one of these since I was a kid, I have had four (2 Valver`s and 2 williams) and feel it's time to move on. There isn't a baby on the way, or a new house, lol, I just want a change.
