I have Jenvey bodies, just looking at my options for fuel rails I have. I know Jenvey can supply them but does anyone heve the measurements I need to build mine up or have any other alternatives?

Also, what about the plugs for blocking up the injector holes in the head? How do they secure in the head?

Guess I need a fuel regulator as well if I get a different fuel rail. Options?

I'll be looking to use aeroquip hose fittings and braided hose too for the full engine-bay porn effect.

Get the Jenvey item and save your self a ton of work...
I had injector hole bongs from APD which is probably ot an option in your case i guess... :-)
It is simply 4 machined ali bungs which fits snugly into the hole.
I have secured mine using some sealant used for hydraulic connections.
Use a std. Bosch 3bar regulator. I have the part number at home.

get it ALL from jenvey. they do injector hole bungs that seal with an o-ring which you tighten with a bolt (hard to explain without a picture)

For what it's worth I think you should just stick with what you have. expensive way to not really see any difference in how it drives

You can use 5p's to block the injector holes.

Ok thanks.

Well, what size do I need from Jenvey? Do I need to get a middle pipe between the two injector rail halves made up? What size/length do I need?

The gains will be minimal with the current spec I guess. I am just throwing an idea out there so I can add up the cost, and I may still get a high comp bottom end made up to allow higher revs...injectors in the bodies would be better for that.

Do I need sealant with them? :D

my injectors are in the head and i rev to just shy of 8k without any problems, she used to rev higher than that and injectors being in the head didnt matter.

mine and Gaz's car has a 1bhp difference on paper, he has injectors in the bodies and mine arent. i think you should get out there and enjoy the car for once instead of tinkering!!!

your as bad as Gaz, put it this way if he gets his way Justins car will be showroom condition in a few weeks. he wants every single bolt back in its rightful place even a new dashboard!

im sensing some cold long nights ahead, tinkering in the winter is bad :(

That a really high number for a F7R. Can you tell me your BE spec?

the naples has a forged high compression bottom end, dont worry im not a silly bugger revving to that on standard internals thats just madness!

I'm glad to hear it's forged. On standard internals it wouldn't last long TBH. Mechanical redline of this engine is somewhere around 6500RPM, IIRC.

Id have no qualms exercising a stock F7R to 7500rpm imo. Not that it would make power there.

My old rally engine made about 180bhp and reved to 7.9k and very torquey.

2 full seasons of serious thrashing and the std BE was fine, never had an issue. If its done 80k and then you start doing stuff then you may have issues 7k plus.

the joiner pipe is a cut to length item. They'll send you a piece to trim and file a chamfer onto at each end (they come with instructions)

fpr wise, get a fixed pressure weber one, adjustable will lead to more problems than it solves

Fixed 3bar FPR: Bosch part no. 0 280 160 001

Mine revs to 7,200RPM without an issue (yet) :)

THe pipe inbetween the fuel rail is a piece of pee i dont even see why the questions being asked? 8mm ID fuel hose from ebay, couple fo fuel clips, chop it to size (just mock it up on the engine), and cut to length takes 5 minutes.

there's more than one type. The better sort uses an O-ring seal in each side of the rail and a piece of aluminium pipe inserted in each side

see how there's no hosetail on the rail on these.

The gay type, i dont see why that is better in any way.
