Saches 8)
both valeo and sachs are fine from experience .
never been too generous to buy a luk one though .
helix
failing that, go for the gtt valeo..stood quite a number of years abuse, hard launches on the strip and a few trackdays no probs.

gtt valeo one is not available any longer iirc .
more to the point ,he is after a clutch for a standard williams
not a 2000trillion bhp drag monster .
lol drag monster iv got the luk 1 guys just took the old clutch out and its a valeo o well see how this 1 goes you have try anything once the sachs clutch retails at £55 the luk £90 so lets see what happens engine going back in at weekend hopefully when my gearbox decides come back
what a experience taking a f7r out with a scaff bar hehe
who needs a engine hoist
wtf are you on about?? mine has a helix in. cant fault it tbh. is a little heavier than the gtt one <<<<< THIS ,GTT ONE IS ALLREADY HEAVY
and its most definately not a 2000trillion bhp drag monster.
the valeo gtt clutch may not be available, im not sure...think my new ones a sachs one...not sure tbh, not even looked in the box properly yet...only had it about 8 months lol.
you are killing a fly with a bazooka !!!
my english might be pretty rusty ,but its called DAS UBER KILL iirc
:D
NOW NOW GUYZ LETS CHILL ITS ONLY A CLUTCH
A R5 GTT clutch is okay for an uprated Clio, but it isn't strong enough for a turbo Clio.
They make for a hard clutch pedal (which I dont like), but they are far from overkill.
corsa/punto mmmmm myt consider be a lot cheaper to run aswell thanks for that shak didnt cross my mind
Ignoring all the bitching going on for one second; I've tried most of the clutches available for the F7 and the Sachs clutch is definitely the best for a non-turbo Clio.
For what is worth,
My competition paddle clutch let go    ,before the Tour of Mull last year.Could not afford a new competition clutch,so in went a STD RENAULT O/E clutch ~~ It did the whole event and is still in now and never a sign of any bother
Plus it was a lot cheaper too
A new competition plate will go in when the box is checked out etc

my saches in lovly tbh.
better than the valeo that i had before, but does suffer from slight judder.
Will give it some abuse at shakespere see what lets go first!
Unless you got big power I would go with zmasters and cliorods posts, Ive seen first hand what a paddle clutch letting go can do, once they wear to rivets they can over heat and explode , seen one smash box off bellhousing and distroy flywheel . I have used 172 clutches on wiiliams as well they can take good amount of abuse . Obviously Iam not saying every paddle clutch will do this just giving my opinion and personal experience of ONE clutch that gave up big time.
Sorry meant to say also agree with kj SACHS are good quality part. cheers ANDREW.
Used a std cover and helix paddle plate in the rallycar for 2 years loads of abuse never had an issue and good peddle. The Full helix padle cover and plate is like an on off switch so competition only.

im the opposite of above ^^
I completely destoryed 2 valeo clutch plate covers, sheared the riveted steed bits (the main springs i guess). epic fail, and i wasnt driving it that hard.

I also agree with Schaks
^^^^ THIS 8)
Valeo original is what I was adviced.
Sachs too, but since Valeo is original on the Williams, I decided to get Valeo.
;)
