Hi Guys & Girls,
I'm toying with the idea of selling my VAG Clio 1.8 20v Turbo as I have found something else which has caught my eye!
Black Clio 16v Turbo, (Electric sunroof/windows), this car has a 20V VAG 1.8T Engine from a 2001 Golf GTI (As fitted to the Audi TT/S3/Golf/Cupra R), with standard forged internals good for 300BHP+. VW Gearbox.
I purchased the car with the conversion done, I have changed/added/upgraded many parts during my ownership.
Featured in Practical Performance Car & I have a copy of the edition to show you.
CURRENT SPEC:
246Bhp recorded at Dave Walker's Dyno at Emerald M3D (Dyno printout provided). Car weighs 900kgs.
1.8 20v (Big port head engine).
K04 Turbo and manifold (Audi S3/TT).
HKS Dump valve.
ITG foam filter (340bhp rated).
S3 Injectors.
Pro-Alloy custom front mounted intercooler (Base core from a skyline rated to 550-600bhp), custom radiator, and all linking pipework.
Pro-speed custom 3" (Turbo pipe back) Stainless Steel exhaust, comes with bung.(Not loud, under 98db).
Emerald M3d programmable ECU with N75 boost controller and three switchable Low Med & High Boost maps.
Clio Williams wide track conversion.
Full Clio Williams Gaz Gold Adjustable Suspension (worth £900) fitted two weeks ago & only just used for the first time at the Mallory Park National Day.
AST Solid Suspension Top Mounts
Brand new Sparco Strut Brace.
Willwood Superlight 4 pot callipers (non dust sealed), 300mm billet centre discs with Poly-D fast road/track pads.
Braided hoses with Silkolene Pro-race 2000 brake fluid.
OMP Targa 330mm Deep Dish steering wheel.
Magnum wide body (for my fat @rse!) Racing seats with five point harness holes. Drivers seat is mounted on Clio runner to allow you to move the driving position forwards & backwards to suit your driving position.
Full red wide strap OMP 5 Point Racing Harness which is still in-date for FIA Events until 2012!
The original seat belt is still in position for everyday use.
Professionally welded rear bar in boot for 5 point harness.
Ipod face off stereo. (Alpine).
Original Williams alloys powdercoated Bright Red, with locking nuts.
Private number plate L3 VOM (reads 'move' in rear view mirror) Got to be worth a few ££ alone
Carbon Fibre Bonnet with quick release Aeroquip carbonfibre catches. The standard black metal bonnet will also be included in the sale.
Tracking system installed but subscription is not paid up.
Toad Ai3036 Thatcham 1 alarm/Immobiliser system. (steering lock also included).
Bodywork has the usual stone chips & wear for a 1996 car, small cracks in the front wings but I was never too bothered with cosmetics so I have not repaired it.
The interior is fairly stripped but I have kept a lot of the parts & will obviously include them with the sale.
Included also are 1 spare Williams alloy (Powdercoated Red Also)
Goodyear Eagle F1's Tyres
Not Taxed as it's my track car this year & I've not had it on the road.
MOT: Will have 12 Months MOT when/if I sell it as it is off the road at the moment
Have taken this car to Nurburgring in 2008 & as always it performs faultlessly!! Think of it as the Renault Looks & Fun with the German Reliability & power!
