Can it be done?
What does it involve?
Rough costs? (ie to fit the bigger inlet valves would be cheaper/a bit more than to buy new Williams valves... )
meg valves are cheaper...needs seats fitting ...easy enough

Its not cheap to do properly.
Its not cheap to do properly.
this, i was quoted an extra £300 to fit them when i had headwork done. i actually wanted them but was told if not going itb then not to really bother, so took that advice :D

If its nearly £200 for 8 new willy valves its a valid option tbh.
also can upgrade the seats too.
but really needs further head work to make the valves work properly in the head.
depends if you can get a cheaper enough megane head to rob the valves from.

you can get them new for a tenner each, why would I want 2nd hand?
can get them for less than that..
all i was saying if you had a second-hand head with valves its not an expensive option.
but still needs new seats ..

plus extra if the valve guides are worn or if a new set of tappets/springs etc is needed.
i put 2 meg inlet valves in my willy 2 head and didnt get new seats fitted just lapped them in it took around an hour per valve to get them done but they are 100%.i went round the outside diameter of the valve with a fine disc in a small grinder to make it as close to the williams 32mm as possible cause the angle of the valve were it seats is the same as the williams.
