ITG panel for cheap option or skuttle induction because the gains and noise are immense!!!!!!!!

My skuttle induction cost me over £200 quid and i got the v6 airbox cheap as a mate gets discount. ITG panel iirc is about £30 but not to sure on best place mate sorry.

agreed and not worth the money on scuttle unless its the first of many mods..

itg is the best bet with the cold air feed sorted to the original box..

unless for noise..lol..

Just take the filter and airbox off.

Take the OE cold air feed off the standard airbox, sounds just like a PiperX induction kit.

Some really nice looking (and expensive) kits out there, but as said, unless teamed up with some nice choice mods and a remap they are not worth it. ITG panel filter ftw tbh, and the PiperX cone filters can be bloody annoying with their whistling. Does it one Leighanne's Willy1 and my old Valver.

was fancying a bit of noise  so whats the best ? cheaper the better though

Like everyone has said, if you want some actual performance than an ITG filter (to begin with) and a remap

But if all your after is a bit of noise than just slap on the cheapest induction kit you find on Ebay

- And when you get bored of the empty noise and total loss of midrange torque, and making -3bhp due to sucking in hot air from the engine bay, then you can sell it and buy that ITG filter everyone suggested...

does the itg fit in the standard air box

Yep, it's a straight replacement for the paper one.

Is this worth fitting as a replacement filter in place of a standard element to avoid the hot air cone problem?

That looks ok. But in the case of a Clio all you'd be doing is replacing the Clio sealed airbox - with another sealed airbox! No gain to be had really.

tbh dont think you cant beat the sound of a k&n 57i kit, comes with a CAF too. not exactly the best out there, but sounds immense, and is better than a lot of the more expensive items in terms of value for money.

personally i just have the k&n panel filter in std airbox....again, not the be all and end all, but better than std and better than most ind kits also.
