View Full Version : Newbie Here!!!!
Hi there as per my post in the cars for sale section - i currently have a Toyota Supra For Sale and am looking to downsize to a Clio Williams due to a career change.
Have always loved the Williams and this site seems to be the place to collect all the info i need to make an informed purchase. Everyone seems friendly and advice/knowledge on tap!!!
Well i can't wait to get behind the wheel of one so fingers crossed with the sale of my Supra..........
Was looking on the net and found www.wheeldeel.com - has anybody had any dealings with these people??? Seem to specialise in 16v's and Williams.
Cheers
Ralph
Hi mate and welcome :)
If your car was a manual, i'd be there... along with a few others i expect
Many thanks for your welcome!!! As for the Supra i have to say when i set out to buy one i wanted a manual and wouldn't even entertain an auto BUT i tried both and have to say the auto makes best use of the power. If i was gonna get a twin turbo it would be a manual but the non turbo seems much more suited to the auto the changes are timed precisely.
But i know what you mean - all i would say is don't knock it till you try it the auto is fantastic!!!!!!!!
welcome mate! and you have made a wise choice in looking for a williams! any preference tho? williams 1,2 or 3?????
No preference to be honest although summat in me says a 3 but i cannot tell you why????
Depends on what comesalong at the time i suppose.
Cheers

good choice!!!! im not being biased by the way
Gotta be a 1 or 2. Lack of sunroof is where its at  There more hassle then there worth.
Agree with HP.Sunroofs are for women
welcome to the site mate
and yes.try staying away from the sunroofed models if u can....but buy the best one u can afford.
theres been a few discussions about it, but personally, id go for bodywork to be mint over the mechanics being mint. a well looked after bodywork will normally point to a car thats been looked after, this includes under the bonnet
dont listen to that deluded bunch! me and northy(the founders of this site) both drive 3's so you will be in good company!!!! :D
