Whilst that is a most FUKINGLOL picture I do have to point out that Craig/APD has a good reputation generally and even those of you who have had a moan, agree Craig's cylinder head work is very good.
Craig has a wonderful opportunity this week to show he can get things done to a timetable, and done to a high standard. He has promised me my car back, and working in top form on the 15th May. He knows there is a lot resting on this now after a lengthy conversation where I made my concerns about time and results clear. Until then I will reserve my own judgement.
Wob's, there's an old thread on CS somewhere about these ITB Cup Racer airbox setups. Not sure if they are worth bothering with though. I'd just use the Jenvey sausage filter and back plate.
oh, and PMSL at Gaz, I wee'd just a little

Ive just got back from dropping the willy off at APD , 12 hour round trip i might add !! It was rather nice to see a few Mk1's there 8)

Do it yourself. A little bit of styropor, die-grinder, GRP or carbon fibre and some vision. You can copy Clio MAXI air box or design one yourself. But given the space restrictions in clio bay, MAXI airbox is pretty much as big as you can fit in there.
Another way would be to do it with polyurethane foam, but then you wold need some 1,2-dialkyl imidazole as a solvent to dissolve the mold once you'd made your airbox.

I actually died a little with laughter when i saw that picture!!!
Although the machine shop bloke was off with the flu when i needed my stuff doing!

I don't think I will get an airbox now. I have come back from seeing my car and I am well impressed at the work I can see. It's a beast :D
There is a lot of space where the standard airbox would be and some other areas are less cluttered, I will consider some air hose feeding the ITBs...maybe. Need orange ones!
If you wanna see pics of the current build state, I will post them up in another thread later today.
I think my car is well past machine shop woes.

you can buy itb airboxes off the shelf
either go on ebay and type in pipercross airbox or go onto the pipercross website
