Rear wheel camber shims:

Where from?
How much?
How to install?
Is there any point?

I had some shime made up as i wanted to play around with the rear camber settings. I believe it is a commen mod on the Mk. 2's.
They must be different to the Mk.1's at the rear.

However i found it to be a bad solution with shims.
The reason is quite simple.
As it is a stub axle design you slide the shim over the axle and place the hub at the altered angle.
You do not change the axle angle at all which is what you really want.
All you change is the angle at which the hub sits - and thereby also the angle the caliper sits at.
This will only make the caliper and pads have an off set angle in relation to the axle and disc...

To sum it up...
Not ideal and it does not work with shims on the Mk. 1

I believe i have some opicture of my attempt at doing this...
Hmm.. money wasted...
