Nicholas Hills Rolling Road
So are nicks rollers going to be the williamsclio.co.uk official rollers?
imo its the only way to get fair results...often other rolers give dif results.

We'll just have to all pile down there one Sat afternoon and take the place over!
Sure he won't mind if we pay.
Mat.
Organise a meet there then Mat.
I'd come. Its a fair Trek but I wouldn't mind driving there. Derby isn't it?
If you all want a rolling road day sorting out then leave it with me.

Yeah i want a rolling road day at Nick Hills. I think its a good idea having an 'official club rolling road' so that there is a bench mark and everyone can be judged on a level playing field. Nick is in the Midlands so central to everyone.
well RE is nearer for the NW lads, but like Rob says, Nick hill is the most neutral. I think this would be good grounds for a meet if he can get us all on at a reasonable price (due to the petrol costs too...) and we can all get together for a chat/beer/lunch etc.

Nick is about 2 hours from me, 2 hours from north London, and i guess about 2 hours from most of the northeners, so seems about perfect location wise.
Indeed a set rollers is definatly a shout but most of us have already had ours roaded at RE so that could be a shout?
Danny
yeah.......but think it took me more than a couple hours to get there last time i went....if we drove at same pace as stromba itd take us all fukkin day lol
It takes me.....about hour and a half to get to hill power down the A50....
Rolling road day sounds like a good idea.........need to get it chipped, but ist there a cliosport roller/chip offer, will ring nick and find out.
So yes northy sort one out please

hey danny t what did your valver make?
Winston, who you getting to map yours? you putting cams in 1st, or just chipping for increased revs?
just chipping it to up the rev limit.......Hill power chip, then fine tuned on his rollers.
I don't need cams.......I have to keep telling my self that lol
does it need the extra revs as it is, reckon you 1/4 mile it first and see how quick it is with the standard engine. plus, you obviously want cams and will get them at some point, so is it worth having to re-chip it again when these go in?

"agreed"
Alright gunner - I got 120bhp at the wheels at RE performance pal!
have you had your rr'd gibbo?
winston - get the motor running well then rr it and 1/4 and then mod from there as you wanna see what difference things have made pal!
Danny
yeah sounds ok for rr there, tbh think distance to either nick hills or RE at bury is around same so not to fussed either way
If yours is owt like the banana winston I think you need the higher rev limit! Mine takes some getting used to...its just getting going and you have to change gear! About 7.5k should do me..
But mines not got cams martin :(
But a few extra rpm would be nice...........plus nicks got a deal on till the end of march on chip and rolling road for £170......Do we get a club discount???
Most prob ring nick tomorrow and have a chat!!!
