Am selling my Williams 3 to fund a new project.

Owned by 1 family from 1996 to 2008 this car has a fantastic service history and a folder full of receipts. The service book has 15 stamps and all but 1 MOT certificate.

The service history shows the car has been consistently well maintained, with regular servicing including replacement of consumables, and repair / renewal of brake and suspension parts. In just the last year over £3.5k was spent on body and engine.

In July 2009 it was mechanically overhauled, including:
Clutch
Clutch cable
Clutch pedal
Cambelt kit
Water pump
Expansion tank

In September 2009 the bodywork was restored. Any rust or damage was repaired and then subject to a complete respray and underseal. The wheels were also refurbished and now the car looks stunning.

I bought the car in November for £3.5k and have spent a bit more on engine mounts, manifold hear shield and 2 michelin PE2's.

The car runs faultlessly and is standard except for a scorpion stainless steel exhaust and an induction kit.

The interior is in very good condition, the seats are unmarked, the sunroof works and water tight and the car comes has the original parcel shelf / suit carrier.

Am looking for £3k, if i can't get that then i might as well just keep it and extend the overdraft!

Photo's attached (hopefully!)

Any questions please pm me
Cheers
Michael

what a beauty! would think this would sell no problem whatsoever, would recommend advertising it on pistonheads etc..

folk on here want one for nothing it seems

Thanks! - have put it on pistonheads as well
thing is that this has been the first properly dry week since i got it and am amazed at how good it is. Am now thinking of leaving my Z3MC off the road for the summer and running the clio instead - if only it was a bit faster..

Was going to modify the mc this year but it's not cheap hence selling the clio - but wouldn't it be crap to sell it without ever having driven it properly?

yet another change of plan
my Z3MC is being sacrificed for a 4x4 / junk carrier for my better half to drive when the baby arrives (just 4 weeks to go  ). I've found a 182 Trophy to do me as a daily driver, so would like to sell the williams in the next couple of weeks - have therefore dropped the price to £2595 which is some bargain when considered against what's been spent on it.

I can offer you some advice on a 182 Trophy as a daily driver. That is, if you want it.

and also how the williams is a better car??? when will you finally admit it?? ;)

Hi Jamie, yeah - please do
i was kind of hoping that the Trophy would drive just like the williams but with the advantage of things like aircon and quick demist screens - that's definitely been the biggest pain over the winter - trying to see where am going at 6.30 every morning, after spending 10 minutes with an ice scraper that is :x

And apparently this is going to be the hottest summer ever so driving in a suit is not gonna be good

If this car is still for sale and people need delivery try www.shiply.com, you basically request what u want and people bid against each other to secure the service.

Have just had a text from a 'buyer' on the morning the car was supposed to be picked up cancelling the sale.

So yes the car is for sale again. Am picking up the Trophy at the weekend so am keen to sell as quickly as possible. Coling2005 can you pm me an email address i can send you additional pics?

Arrived home earlier today with it and have given it a wash.

Will start a new thread on it in the next few weeks when I get some free time.

Thanks to Michael for his assistance in picking me up from airport etc
