The Integra is an awesome drivers car with amazing capabilities but i'm sure you already know that. Rated by Evo magazine as the greatest front wheel drive car of all time.

This is one of my all time favourite cars and to me the last true Type R from Honda, true to the original intentions of the name.

Firstly let me say that myself and my car are genuine and honest, the reason for the sale is simply that I have a motorway commute each day and I need something more refined, there is no hidden agenda and I would not be selling the car if there was another way around it.

I am a true petrol head, all of my cars have been cherished and I am very particular when it comes to looking after them. I use a trusted specialist mechanic for all of the work I have done and use the best products to keep the car clean and as immaculate as possible.

The car....

The car was registered in March 1998 making it a 98 'R'. This is a UK car, not an import. The car was fitted with the optional Honda Cat 1 alarm system. I have the all important red key and the red key fob. Both are in there boxes. I have two sets of keys and alarm fobs. The car has the original locking wheel nut in the box with the code. The current mileage is 71493 miles.

I have a mountain of paperwork for the car (in chronological order!), which includes the original sales brochure, original bill of sale, warranty documents, service bills and every MOT from new. I also have the HPI report, (which is clear) from when I bought the car. The car has all the original handbooks in there original holder.

The car has full Honda service history up until 40k. The car was then bought by a mechanic who did all the serving himself. The book was not stamped by him but every receipt has been kept showing how well the car was looked after. I bought the car with 63k miles on it and in that time I have returned to the service schedule. The 66k service was carried out including a full Cam belt and Aux belts change using genuine Honda parts. Following this I have also replaced the rear light seals, rear offside wheel bearing and rear brake pads.

I have fitted genuine UKDM mats from Honda, replaced the faded front badge and fitted a new rear Honda boot badge.

The car has no modifications other than a Tegiwa brake stopper, anthracite wheels and clear side repeaters. This brake stopper is suppose to improve brake feel but it was fitted when I got the car so I could not tell you if it makes any difference. The wheels are genuine UKDM anthracite wheels. The only difference is the colour. These are the original colour, not refurbished and are in very good condition. They are fitted with Toyo Proxis T1R tyres. The front tyres are nearly new and the rears are about 50% worn. I think these really set the car off and look a lot better than the white wheels, plus they are easier to clean. As you can see from the photos I have removed the bulky front number plate holder. This will be included with the car but I think it looks much cleaner and modern. I will also include the original amber side repeaters.

The bodywork on the car is in very good condition and has been very well looked after. I store the car in my garage each night and regularly clean and polish / wax it. I use the two bucket method of cleaning to avoid any scratches. The only real detriment to the paintwork is a slight bubble that has formed on the passenger side sill (see picture). My intention was to have this professionally repaired in the summer. In doing research through the club it seems that UK Integra's suffer from corrosion on the rear arches due to the rubber strips trapping water under them. The solution is to simply remove them and keep the arches clean. These have now been removed. I always clean under the arches due to some of the previous cars I have owned that have similar problems.

The Interior is in superb condition. The Recaro seats are unmarked besides the usual wear to the drivers side bolster. The drivers side foam insert has been replaced with the genuine item from capital seating so the seats have no sagging at all and are very comfortable. I will also include in the sale two red fitted seat covers that were purchased from capitol seating. I removed these for the photos but the seats are usually covered. I suffer from a bad back and would highly recommend these seats as they give you the correct posture and the best seating position.

I have also fitted a Honda S2000 CD head unit and replaced the front speakers as one of the cones had become damaged due to age.

The car drives very smooth and tight, as it should. I rarely drive the car in VTEC due to the type of driving I do and to be honest I bought the car for is handling not to go out and thrash it. The car is always properly warmed up and the oil level checked regularly. The mileage will go up as the car is in daily use. I will be happy to answer any further questions.

The car has MOT until September 2010 and is taxed until November 2010. The car will be due an oil change service at 72k which will be done before this unless the car is sold first. My private plate is not included in the sale.

My email address is clioworld@hotmail.com and my number is 07800762423.

The first 8 photos are the most recent pictures taken today after a 170 mile trip but as you can see that car still looks beautiful! Please feel free to contact me with any further questions.

I may take a swap or part exchange for the right car, but i am extremely picky and will not take any rubbish. My short list is a Skoda Octavia 1.8T VRS with sub 40k.
