Gearbox reinforcement disk - any experience?

Does anyone has experience of this French made disk for Willy box?

Dont have experience of it but I have seen this mod once before used on another car, think it was a Clio.

hi mate..

this is were a lot of gearbox casings fail..as there is a weak point in the bearing housings...

swiss from clio 16 valve has one fitted..

i was just never sure that the extra bolt holes etc would make this area any stronger..

expensive too to fit as you would need to strip the entire box and re machine it..plus 165 quid seems a little steep.
