Looking for a williams gearbox doesnt matter about milage on the box as im going to get it rebuilt anyway. Are the 16v and megane f7r gearboxes the same?

16v are jb3's, weaker bearings in them but for standard williams power would be fine, will just devalue a williams a bit is all

megane 2.0's and laguna 2.0's run jc5, similar to williams box but different end code as they are jc5053's. will fit to engine no worries but u need a mark 2 clio gearbox top mount and battery tray to get them to fit in a mark 1

Ok cheers, well a megane or laguna box would be fine then or a williams. In a bit of a hurry for it because my stereo just keeps getting louder :lol: If i get my hands on a megane box will also be looking to buy a mk2 top mount and battery tray.
