Ecu Question??

I know its not modding but just wondering if there is like a obd socket on a willy3??? for trouble codes/diagnostics etc??

and if there is where does it hide?? lol

There's an obd1 in the fuse box iirc, it can't be read by the cheap readers you see in Argos though, they are obd2 only. No idea what it can tell you if you find something that can read it.

ah i see, is it like the old 2x2 form of obd them?

does it support much of a diagnostic interface?
Im just wondering if its worth my while sourcing a lead or reader for the car, i dont really need it at the moment, but was just wondering if its worth having to hand for future use??

anyone know of any particular reader or lead or software for lappy that would be useful for this???

XR25 is the mk1 diagnostic tool. If you search the forum there is a few threads about them

dam i just remembered the guy in the unit next to mine has a snap on reader

anything pre 2000 is a bit hit and miss, but i recently connected to a 96 laguna without issue (well apart from the 47 faults). I'll have to find a williams to plug into
