As a bassist I could only ever dream of being able to play like Les Claypool. I just got my bass back and dug it out the case when I heard the first track. Then the ****ing d-string snapped!

Guess that's what happens when it's been sat slack for 5yrs and you try to tune it!

Les Claypool is the bassist from Primus. The only song you'll have heard of Primus is the South Park theme. They're like RHCPs from the early days but on 10X more drugs, and 1000000X better at playing bass than Flea.

They've been on it 5yrs Rob, untensioned. I guess the sudden tensioning after all that time did for it.

Arseburgers!
