not too sure - i know phase one works in a phase 2 car as ive done this myself.

If the phase 2 ecu doesnt have a built in imobaliser then it should work fine.

can you explain this a bit better , why do you want to
run it without the lambda ??
if it helps r19 16v ecus seem to work on all f7p s ragerdless
of ph etc .

I used a ph2 ECU in my old ph1 valver from Stan ages ago and it was fine. Used another ph2 board on my Williams (it had a swappable EPROM chip carrier) and that worked as well but the board had a fault and was revving at 2.5k. Still, it worked.

Pretty sure ecu pins are the same, it's the white and brown plugs that differ

I have never managed to get a Ph2 ECU to work in my J-Reg Ph1, just flashes immobiliser light.
