Me too ^
I expect to get 320miles without trying, and on an easy plod west a couple of months ago to pick up some stuff, 250mile round trip got 380miles from that tank. Fills are about 45litres/10 gallons, so on average you should get around the 33-34mpg mark. Big mods however will reduce this.

whoa leigh anne and wobba you got thirsty cars!!! its never that bad?! i'll see how much i get out my next tank...
and i thought my 172 was bad. Tsk  bout 350 a tank on my little badass.
when we went to germany last year, i managed to get from doncaster to dover on half a tank(240mile) thats us cruising at 80mph most the way(odd burst now n then) thats a cammed/mapped engine etc
think coops turbo used almost a full tank for the same distance
I suspect the tank is sort of funnel shaped, the first half will take you 200+ easily, the rest will only get 100+. I'm not light-footed, but if I was getting less than 300 I would be looking for a fault. Start at fuel filter, a small leak there would be almost un-noticed, it would dribble out under pressure while travelling, and you might not even smell it after stopping.

I was getting roughly 20mpg from my willy but that was purely town driving in rush hour traffic on my daily 5 mile commute.

300 miles from a 45 litre tank? That's 31 mpg which is about right.
