View Full Version : NW Last meet of the year 30th of December Warrington 7:00 pm
Lets get a meet together for the last time of the year.
I know some of us are off that week so I wanted to arrange something, of which I will also post on CS to get the numbers up.
If you want a drive we'll sort that out by meeting somewhere earlier however the evening activities will be:
Meeting up at B&Q/Screwfix for 7:00-30 pm and then go to the retail park for some food or bowling or whatever after a chat.

I thought it was going to be back on the road? But yeah, by all means I'll pick you up.
Won't be back on the road till start of the new year mate, then I need to get the exhaust sorted...
maybe a weekend would be best.....when ppl arent actually working??
I'm busy on the weekends, only free during the week but if you guys want to go on the weekend that's fine with me.
If you cannot make it we can sort another out for sometime in Jan or make it an evening thing. Meet at Trafford Centre for six or something, or somewhere in Warrington too if we're all coming from that location anyway.
Went to a CS meet in Warrington after work and must have been 20 cars there so if we have a few ppl coming I'll whack it on there to.
well i can do evenings no probs. whether i have the kids or not. during the day over the xmas hols il be working tho. am free most saturdays, sundays are out for me.
i work til 4-5 dependant on when i get my lazy arse outta bed in the mornin

Bo**ocks - i'd probably have come to my first meet to be honest.
However, i took the clio off the road for december as the tax was up and i knew we'd only need the pug as i'd be layed up most of the month :-( Will be back on the road on the 2nd Jan tho....
Jamie's been pestering for me ages as well, and i did promise too!!!

like i said mate...il be in the van......its customary in a wc meet to NOT turn up in a williams....i wouldnt wanna upset the clubs meets standards. ;)

We'll sort the bowling out tomorrow. There has been some weather warnings but I think they have now passed. I also wasn't sure if ppl wanted food but I don't think that many ppl will be bowling so it's not going to be that bigger issue.

No idea about the bowling though, I was there two days ago at a meet with another forum and it was rammed, so i'm doubtful weather you'l be able to just turn up and get on :(

Yeah, I didn't put anything about bowling on CS as I don't think they'd be up for that overly.
I was just going to say if you wanted to, after going to Screwfix and grabbing some decent pics (hopefully) we could go to a pub or bowling.
I wanted to see who was up for it on the night really as I didn't want 30 ppl saying yeah I'll do it then no one actually wanting to.
might give bowling a ring when we are at the meet and book in - u up for it ?

Thanks for the nice comments about the williams, been very lucky with the lack of rust on her, I do my best to keep her that way (even a bit obsessive) :oops: don't think I'll be selling any time soon though guys... :wink:
CA's is also a nice example, just need them wheels refurbed!!... :P I got a mate who works for dentman if you want them parking dents taken out you showed me...

Aww well there will be no getting away next time, will watch out for the 306 and get yourself over next time and say Hi. Plus I am in Stockpport anyway if you ever fancy a run out.

yeah mate. i the lad with dead valver waiting on a new engine
i knew a few of the people there like jord and some of his crew from a rr day and the lad in the 200.
but didn't know anyone really in the mk1, and the mk2 don't really float my boat
i think next time i'll have to pluck up the courage to introduce myself properly and ask people there forums names. that way can put names i know to face and cars. but hopefully by then the hybrid should be back on the road.
