Are the 16v's different to the Williams?

Ok, not so easy one then!
Why, when i now have a williams gearbox fitted (16v removed), does the gearbox end of the cable, not fit. :lol:

possibly because you've either got the end of the old cable still in the willy box or you're missing the white plastic thingy that goes into the box and the cable is supposed to go into that?
