I jumped into the my car this afternoon and noticed the temp gauge for outside has gone dark. The temp is still being displayed but it's a lot darker. I've adjusted the dash lighting roller and has no effect.
Was just wondering if there is a small bulb behind it that can be replaced?
Any ideas ?
Cheers
Sammy

Good luck on trying replacing it!!!
2 biggish bulbs for that iirc, easy to do, whip clocks out and replace

Does to top of the dash have to come out to get the clocks out I assume?

yep sure does easy enough as ben says just need to be careful when u pull the clocks out apart from the connectors there is just the speedo cable which should have enough slack in it to allow access might just help to undo a few of the connectors :)
there are 4 screws holding the clocks in as well, 2 are underneath and you need to remove the steering wheel shroud iirc to access them, dont just pull as you'll snap something

Sounding like Haynes manual there Coops!!!
Nothing EVER as easy as read!
All the terms are in that manual
'just whips out'
'just slides out'
'just pulls out easily'
'just pushes on'
Force always required!!

there will still be a fault there might be worth checking it out anyway. Faulty connection or bulb maybe
