Just wondering what money you have to spend to get certain work done on a Willy lump...

For example, what would £1k get you in terms of work and bhp and so on...

1000 will see you cams and a map, maybe pullies if you get a decent price on a setup, but you'll need to pay to get them fitted as well.

1000 will allow you to put 100 bhp of nitrous through it on a direct port wet system with progressive controller. Biggest bang for bucks and as long as you install correctly and take the precautions as any forced induction tuner would (uprated fuel pump, colder plugs, higher octane fuel, slight ignition retard), be it turbo, supercharged or nitrous, you will have good power when you want it and good mpg when not!! :)

Or gain 20hp the naturally aspirated route for the same dosh!!

remembering that its £60 quid a shot to refill that bottle, but yes the nos is your cheapest option for a quick power upgrade
