If you are going to drink a poofs drink, then Carling, Stella, XXXX, Fosters all ming.

Grolsch, 1664 and Becks are the daddies of the big brands. I generally default to these or nasty other drinks when I've filled myself up with the Black stuff.

I like ciders like Henry Westons etc. I was put off after binging on it as a youngster, but was gasping at my dads one day and all he had was cider. So I tried some Westons and it was luvvly.

A really good, cheap beer that the bastards at Tesco no longer sell is Zipfer. Gorgeous stuff.
