Struggling to get a 90 Amp one but want to keep car standard or better. 70 Amp valver alternators don't cut the mustard in this respect.

Worried the 70 Amp ones for valvers won't fix my battery light flashing up in traffic due to insufficient power. Trying to keep everything working nice without constant irritation of warning lights.

Use a lot of ICE so would like the highest power alternator.

Lowering weight up front.

I'm spending a lot of money getting new alternator fitted by garage at significant cost so would rather invest in a better quality alternator that might last a bit longer.

No plans for the £500 ones but would be willing to shell out for a £200 one if it kept this problem at bay for an extra year.

Does a diesel one fit and give higher output?
