Now I'm getting a wee bit desperate for the Willy I've had a little plan and wondered if anyone has done this or thinks it may/may not work.....

My plan is to go into my main bank and ask them if I can have borrow £3100 for a month at the most and pay it back as soon as my other car is sold. So really its a very very short term loan with no interest just a direct payback.

Opinions please? Cheers!

Just get a normal loan but for like 12 months but make sure there is no penalty for paying off early. Sorted you can pay off the loan as soon as you've sold yours in a week or a month...

Link not working Mervin, I dont think I can get out another loan as I already have 1 with my bank for the car I own now, that's the problem :(

Lloyds are currently offering a 3 month no payment loan, im not sure if its current customers only but may be worth a looksee.

I've just gone to apply here and this has come up on Zopa's website, does anyone have any clue about these Contracts?

""You've asked to borrow £4,000.00 under 800 contracts of £10 each.""

Don't worry about that mate. Basically Zopa is made up of lenders and borrowers. Each can lend/borrow up to a certain amount. So if you want £8k, it may well be that that £8k is made up of £10 from 800 lenders.

It can't be 800 contract of £10 though. :?

Any doubts and just e-mail them. They seem like a friendly bunch.
