Mines standard at mo, and is making noises, with no tension on belt I can wiggle the pulley a little and it clonks a bit when I do so.

So...any low inertia/mass whatever alternatives out there?

yeah, your engine will be working less to run it, hence more power to the wheels, but probably produce less power and thus if you do lots of short journeys not a good option ;)

You can get custom made alternators, the ICE boys use them to power massive systems without killing batteries all the time lol

There's a place near Harlow but I'm buggered if I can remember the name of the place off hand...

Ok, yes I have seen some Mitsu alternators out there. What ampage do I need? 90amps?
