From where can I buy a close ratio gearset for my 1.8 16v ?? cheapest possible and good value fore money please :lol:

Here in Malta its just impossible to find anything..

thou I would like something more reliable that can take some power ..

I know I'm not going to find a cheap gearset but I've added that just to try my luck maybe someone has a box and not using anymore and wants to sell

hi mate i think avanti and quailfe or sadev do a set.

theres definitely to makes available but both are expensive.

stan at apd did have a close ratio box for sale second-hand at around 3/3.5k
i believe. try him as he will have all the info

Gear sets about 2k new stan had a JB3 box with one for 1.5k, still got it i think..

nope, sold a while ago for £1600.

I can get hold of a Sadev dog-box for about 3k if thats of intrest.

Comparatively cheap mate,

A decent USED sequential will cost circa £4000/4500.
