soon to be put in our mk1 escort project as soon as the body is ready..
drove up to lancaster to pick this baby up.
paid 1500 for it and its 357 bhp at the fly (should pull nicely in a fully stripped mk1 scort 8) )

thats cheap tbh, i know ppl who have payed alot more for cosworth lumps although theres are 500bhp+
cheap as chips mate
considering its been fully rebuilt and not even run in yet !
supplied with the re mapped ecu, dump valve, uprated turbo, uprated wastegate
brand new fly and clutch
we was looking for a full sapphire cosworth but this popped up on ebay and couldnt say no for the price really
just need a gearbox and the body to be finished now
oh and a capri rear axle
yeah rich.. we want around 500 bhp so more work is required but its a good base engine
Holy cow lol, that's gonna be nuts.

i know of 1 sierra cosworth running 500bbhp which has blown 3 engines now, last one threw a rod out the side, and iirc it had been built with full forged internals etc

Where abouts in Lancaster did you buy it from mate? I live just outside :)
in heysham iirc.. ive rode my bike there a few times back int day (northern accent)
yeah its gonna be lightweight alright.. big holes in the front to cool the monster intercooler i still need to get my hands on..
ive seen a few lads running 550 plus in the classic fords. bloody nutters
this wont be a daily driver this will come out to play on the finest of summers days (a rarity these days)
and for shows/strip runs
Get off this forum flash your really pissin me off
give me a kiss col :approve:
if its not yet run in, how do you know its making 357bhp at the fly?

Dyno'd after the rebuild but not up to "run-in" mileage?
