btw it will need a custom size alternator belt as non ps setup
belt dont seem to work . something along the lines of 58 or 68cm
springs to mind ,may be someone else can clarify .

Can I still use this WITH powersteering? I just wanna do away with the ridiculous brackets.

No way you can run that & keep the PAS, the amount of brackets & crap you get rid of is surprising

and no where near 815mm

Trust me it's a 6 rib belt & it's 815mm long, it's fitted to my car so I know it's right :wink: and I got the info off winston as well 8)

mine must be a special one than ,i got one fitted to my
car probably well before yours as well and 815 mm sounds way
too long :wink:

col i have used the original brackets of my 9 gtx ,but the
alternator is deffo a 19 16v one which means 19 engines must have
5 valley pullies .

fooking shame i never noted the exact length of the belt i used :?
now i have to take it off and measure to get a spare . :bumshake:

using them brackets i used a pk6-800mm belt and it fits perfectly fine.

only issue i found was the bracket sat right against the front panel section, so i cut it back 5mm to give it room when the engine rocks

I did have a code number for a peugeot belt which fitted without p-steering ,an im sure its a 5 ribber ... :wink:
