where did you get your short shift gear stick and how much was it/ How difficult was it to fit?

Ahh haha sorry mate, have been really busy of late. It is a stick made by Yanoo I think (sorry if I am wrong!). With the 4th mount and all new mounts its a really good gear shift (now I am used to it!).

It was a bit of a pain to fit as I ended up having to readjust my gear linkage which took ages. This was due to my dogbone mount being shagged though.

At the end of the day I MUCH prefer it to the sloppy sticks I've tested in the past, but you need to make sure the stick return spring is good and you have solid engine mounts.

Sorry Wobba, but your short shifter isn't from me.
I think You have a BB (or BB copy) shifter.

By the way, I have a short shifter (developed by me) which looks like the genuine gearstick, comes with a shortened reverse-lock sleeve, fixed (or adjustable - on request) ball joint housing, adapter and small gear linkage and the overall shift throw shortening is 25% or 30% (depends which small gear linkage (there is a longer and a shorter version) is used). This kit has been already fitted into many Clios (including rally cars) and R19s. Fortunately readjusting was never necessary with this kit.

My short shifter kit with fixed ball joint housing:

Finished, eloxed housings (fixed and adjustable):

Thanks :)

The full kit with longer small gear linkage and fixed ball joint housing is GBP 44, with shorter small gear linkage is GBP 47 (but it depends on actual GBP/HUF exchange rate).
