hi all i snapped a rear disc on a trackday and just about managed to stop, but the disc on the other side looked like it was about to go aswell,i know rear discs dont do a massive amount of braking but dont want that happening again

standard rear discs with greenstuff pads, hoses and decent fluid has always seen me through on track. then obviously better discs up front

Standard stuff at the back is more than plenty in a mk1 or 2.

Had a disk crack 3/4 way round on mine before!
