Civic Type R's

Someone I know is getting one.

Looks really nice, has Trendline's, air con, low miles and about 6.5k so pretty good VFM.

What do these go like? What is the handaling like?

my daughters chaps got one (early type) nice motor handles well as you are aware you can rev the nuts off it.

i had a civic type R and loved it ! its a cracking car but needs to be driven hard to get the most out of it. perfect reliability and very good build quality too.
i never had a single problem with mine in 15 months ownership but i did find slight body roll when pushing it hard but i mean very hard !
would recommend one to anyone and when driven sensibily they are very economical too
i only sold it as i had my Evo at the same time :lol:

What should and shouldn't have been changed on them.

schakal your sounding like you think there slow? they aint there a touch faster than the 182s, the steering is abit lifeless with little feedback. personally i hate them they look shite integra if you want a honda with the tyre r badge.

1- i never said i beat a type r on a 1/4 mile drag race first of all .
2- do you have a type r ? otherwise i dont see your point in drag racing me ?

And keep up man, yesterday it was a Type R, today a Clio Trophy tomorrow a Ferrari Enzo.

All I am trying to do is get the 1/4 mile day numbers up not particuarly race you, although I will beat you either way :wink:
