4th mount 'plate' [Archive]

I've got the required rubber part of the 4th mount now, but I need the plate which bolts to the front of the gearbox. Does anyone have one that they'd part with?

I realise they're not massively expensive from Renault, but my nearest dealer is 30+ miles away now so it's the inconvenience of it.

Or if anyone fancies nipping to their local Renault for fuel money and ordering for me and sending on, that'd me amazing!

I had to modify mine to fit round the earth point and powersteering pipes.

Again, nearest scrappy likely to have anything in is still a treck away :cry:

No powersteering to deal with so hoping it'll go in with minimal fuss and help eliminate the prob i'm having with 172 track.

Why???

Move the earth strap to a different bolt... (the middle front 10mm stud that holds the end casing plate for gearbox is good.

powersteering pipes should run underneath it anyway so shouldn't be anywhere near it.

The cup racer ran the 4th mount and did away with the gearbox top mount strap that wraps around from the front to back to spread the load on the top mount.
