What does everybody think to the claims on ebay for a 192 hp williams chip with just breathing mods and no cam work etc! a bit optomistic?

The seller claims he has had it rolling roaded, hmmm..................Surely 42 hp over standard is stretching it a little! just like to know your thoughts!

I heard you can chain them together abd add as many as you think you'll need.

Just got to be careful on the old gearbox - I'm going for 3 I reckon it'll be ok :D

Ha, thought as much....................No, its for my mate as I have already got a gunner 180. It was just a case of my mate saying how do you know its not a reasonable hp figure (192) if I have already bought the gunner and it is 180! Thing is I trust what you guys say and never thoroughly trust ebay, and hopefully after what has been posted on here my mate will doubt ebay too. thanks :D

i reckon it could add up to 50+bhp used in conjunction
with a twin vent setup like this one :D

192 just sounds like a figure plucked out of thin air to sound like 172, 182, 192, etc... 192bhp from a standard unworked engine sounds a bit optimistic to say the least.

I stupidly bought one of these chips before i read this thread, fitted it just to see the differences, an improvement over the original and didn't think it was bad in any way, ie fuel holes etc, pulls all the way to 7500rpm.
KJ had a quick look at the coding and agreed that it would be ok to try, nothing silly in the coding.

Still don't think its gonna make 192 but made a difference, this is why i was trying to organise a rolling road day but little interest.
Got a gunner 180 on way and i'll try it and report on any dfferences.

FYI, running ITG filter and decat pipe only.
Contemplating an engine rebuild and possibly a turbo convertsion while its out.

Thoughts?
