has anyone had one of these on their cars or running one just now? whats the opinion on them? is it a worthwhile mod or a waste of money? had the old style hillpower kit on my last williams it sounded great but in the summer you could feel a drop in power due to the heat soak but this new one is meant to work better as away from the engine heat.

Yeah, something to do with the air pressure from around the windscreen & skuttle panel forces a lot more air into the area and it's colder air as well

ask the rally teams lads back in the 90's, if its good enough for them etc etc :wink:

If you look at the French ebay site the price of 380 Euro includes all the necessary equipment required to relocate the battery so not that bad really.

all you need is a couple of silcone 30 degree or so elbows, a length of pipe, throttle body adaptor, a filter and a drill bit to hack through the bulkhead into the scuttle. oh and a replacement washer bottle from the scrappers, anything small will do, i used a nova 1.1 one
