View Full Version : Why can't I edit / delete my posts?

I've posted an interesting poll, but for some reason one of the options is missing, which makes the thread a farce. It's nuts I can't change / delete it seconds after posting, and it puts everyone else out who clicks on my thread because it now makes no sense.

I don't see how disbling deleting / editing helps anyone.

it was removed a while ago due to people abusing it/miss-use

In future i suggest u do a preview before u submit your thread/post so u can always go back and edit etc.

It was taken away for a good reason i assure you.

Doesn;t seem to be a problem that they can or can't change their messages? From the 20ish forums I'm a member of, it's unique.

well errrmm theres a new forum being developed, as to what stage its at im unsure on that, as far as im aware we will be changing to a different type of forum, more interactive etc etc

as for edit function i think there was going to be some form of it were you can edit at any time untill you post again, although it yet may be a full open edit, as its still in development its not been fully decided yet

I meant the edit function doesn't seem to be a problem. This is the only forum i use without it
