remove the immobiliser trickery which is embedded in the ECU, if that makes sense, sorry total novice!!! :D

When i had mine decoded I used www.ecuclinic.com and found them very good

I see. Sorry im only familiar with the Fenix 3a ECU in williams/valvers which doesn't have any immobiliser trickery.

ok. sent my ECU, to ECU-testing in nottingham found them to be very helpful and they seem to know what they were talking about but only time will tell!!!! exspect it back next tuesday, will keep informed

you can get the ECU either Flashed, or a proper hard emulator fitted,


The emulater is better, as if you map the stock ECU it wipes the decode out and you have to pay for ir again, find out what they did
