It's been years since I followed BTCC and I just tuned in to watch WTCC (which I presume to be a clone of BTCC) to see if things has changed much.

It's on an incredibly narrow street track somewhere in France and, immediately, I see the lead car crash into the safety car and race suspended.

Yup, looks like thing haven't changed much :)

the WTCC is the world championship and obviously BTCC is british championship but both are based on pretty much the same rules now,

just watching the BTCC now as its live from donington!

Yah, some of the old drivers (Rydell, Menu) from BTCC, when I was following, still going pretty fast in WTCC. Still as rough and rude a race format as ever.

it is pretty much, although not quite as fast as the good old days! lol

i noticed there was a few ex-btcc drivers in it

I've just come back from Donington 8)

Was piss wet so quite fun to watch :D the clio's were mental as usual :lol: but the porsche carrera cup race was really boring :(

Difference with Le Mans is the weather, bbq's, and beer!!

Possibly, but the monster pissup & bbq's make it much more fun :twisted:

besides me & my m8 have decided we're going to thailand instead :twisted:
