Hi guys. Ive been saving for best part of 10 months and have got 3 grand all together.
I am so tempted to get itb's. But for the same money i could get cat cam 225s, pulleys, cambelt, tensioner kit, water pump, oil cooler, all fitted as well and get the car converted to manual steering, and get my rusty arch properly repaired.

What do you reckon i am best off goin for.
Thanks

Justin..

Most of that other stuff is a piece of piss to do with the engine out anyway, cambelt, pulleys, tensioner, water pump. Not that expensive tbh especially if you do it yourself.

cams will make the car faster, but you'll hardly feel it... ITB's imo, or boost y0![/url]

PM Dan_mk1 he's selling a load of bits you'll need for throttle bodies, cheap

I've also got a few bits you might need if you haven't got them already

How long would this type of conversion take? I guess it's a case of dropping the car off. Does the head need to come off? Would it be worth having headwork done at the same time if one were planning it porting etc anyway?

couple of days..and yes because of the mapping it would be better done at the same time..otherwise you would need to re-map it after further work..

Got off the phone from Emerald yesterday and bagged myself an entire throttle body kit for £1831.04 inc VAT and delivery.

For that im getting inlet manifold, Jenvey bodies, air horns, fuel rail, fuel injectors, Emerald ECU, necessary wiring loom, throttle pos sensor, crank sensor, air and coolant temp sensors, trigger wheel and air filter.
Barring the shortened rad, which i will be buying soon, can anyone think of any thing else i might need.
