I have never voted Labour and so none of this mess is my fault. If you voted them in at any point since 1997, YOU are responsible indirectly for this mess.

This thread isnt to discuss the torys and how they wouldnt be any better. Its just to see if any of the Labour voters have the guts to admit they voted in a bunch of incompetent retarded criminals.

Post if you voted them in.

If you have the guts.

Shame on you.

well the tories runined us once, now labour have done, liberals waste of space and all other parties havent got a hope in hells chance so who do we vote for, im tempted by tory if only for a change of face and a legit appointment of the pm.

Nothing left to privatise really so the mistakes of the 80s shouldnt happen again, well not all of them, we've already been through silly house prices and theyre falling again.

Well the tories left us with one of the best economies we could have had once in 1997 and now labour have left us with the worst, liberals waste of space and all other parties havent got a hope in hells chance so who do we vote for, im tempted by tory if only for a change of face and a legit appointment of the pm.

There corrected that for you so its now actually factually correct

katbloke
14-05-2009, 20:20
some of what i said about the tories was factually correct, yes they did bring us out of the 80s slump in the 90s, i dont think labour will get the opportunity to try as theyve been making it progressively worse over the years.

Close the UK, send home illegals in prison, bring back death sentence for those 110% guilty, stop fighting wars that have no real benefit to us, sort out top heavy institutions, sterilise all male babies so they can t have children, only when they are married, mature enough, financially stable and intelligent enough should they be able to apply for the operation reversal.

Just a few pointers that may save the country a few quid

I voted for them in 2000 odd, was the first time I could vote because I am young  Well, ok, demographically old very soon.... :?

I think somewhat ppl look back with rose tinted glasses. Who is to say that any other national party if in control would have managed things differently. Could have had a different type of problem, or maybe even still the same one... You cannot second guess what different people would have done. Credit was easy and prospects excellent, borrowing in the medium to long term would lead to longer term profitablity.

Furthermore, what specifically is it someone else would have done differently with regards to the banks? As it is the banks what caused the majority of this mess as PSBR has only rocketed due to nationalisation of such banks - ok the FSA have done a poor job of regulation but some of these financial problems only surface when things go wrong. I know somone of you think you know everything and about everything but the complexities regarding valuations of securities (NOTE TERM SECURITIES NOT JUST SHARES) is incredible. Actually spotting these is near impossible which is why the FSA in that respect is merley a scape goat.

Ok, lets go on from here as well and talk about the pension crisis. Another massive black hole, or prymid scheme if you will these days which has led to PSBR - is that labours fault too?

Richardcard1974
14-05-2009, 21:13
I could have told you how this would end because labour are socialists and wherever socilaism is introduced around the world it fails.

Socialism involves talking from productive people to give to unproductive people. This is not sustainable.

State failure is the only result and that is what we are now seeing.

Jamie.

Labour have done what they've always done through history. Chuck money at it cluelessly. The only difference this time is they had the whole feckin' country borrowing way beyond its means.

What pisses people off about the Tories in the 80s is just tough shit. It was always going to happen eventually and just needed someone with balls to tackle the problem and drag us out of the 17th Century. It was harsh for a few people but better for the country as a whole. A modern country cannot compete on industrial product price yet still provide an acceptable level of pay and pension for its workers.

Their biggest balls up was dragging us into Europe which Thatcher has fully admitted Heath duped her on. (cos she had a thing for him presumably) At least Thatcher stuck by her convictions, not like modern politicians who change their views when the wind changes direction.
