View Full Version : anyone into or own proper RC cars/buggies?

as above, does any own or into proper RC cars/buggies either electric or nitro?

im thinking of buying one(been years since i owned any) and fancy a off road buggie, something electric(mainly as there quieter) like a ansmann smacker 4x4 or a maverick strada XB,

something i can abuse abit without to much worry lol as much as i like the touring car versions cant really take them anyway and do silly jumps etc.

yes m8 have a few toys :lol: running a tuned savage and a baja 5b, HPI stuff reliable and easy to get parts local williamsons in bentley really handy and owner well clued up also tag in donny but not so good but ok if desperate but if your buying then check out modelsport website they are in otley but do mail order. electric ok but nitro/petrol lot more fun :wink:

its a long time since i had one tbh, think it was something like a hornet buggy which was std and knackered, got ran over by a car in end lol doh!

them sets you have are well expensive lol not really looking to spend that much, just want one to rag about and abuse tbh, noticed they started doing drift spec rc cars too lol wtf is all the led lights about too!

main reason why i want a eleccy version is the lack of noise for using it around the house lol can get a nitro one at later stage!
