fitting my carbon bonnet on sunday which is a single skin one. where do i fit the 2 pins closest to the windscreen? do i drill into the strut or try and go into the metal by the wing? that would seem a bit close to the edge of the bonnet to me?

any pics would be grand but any other input is greatly received!

Thanks

lots of people remove the rear most wing bolt and screw a bonnet pin in there.

struts are too low i think..

could make brackets in the corner of the bay..

do you think 4 pins will be sufficient on a single skin carbon bonnet? or would 6 be better to do front, middle and back to keep it down at speed. this car is my track car so it will be travelling to its max.

cheers!

o yeh i wont be getting the bonnet cut and sprayed for a while so do you think i should drill some holes where the vent goes to get air in there or just leave it till its done? bearing in mind its going on track a fair bit before its finished.

cheers
