Just curious as to how many people here not on UK time zone? 5 or 6, I think.

Don't wear a red or yellow T-shirts. :)
If anything cost more than half of UK prices, it's too expensive.
And get a local translator as virtually no english speakers there.

Wear red - if you want to get your head bashed in (or shot) by monarchist supporters who are in power as of today.
Wear yellow - if you want to get your head bashed in (or shot) by Thaksin supporters.
Other than that, they are friendly lot of people, that is, if you can understand what they say.
A bit too sleazy for me in some places and it's difficult to tell ladyboys apart from the real thing, sometimes :D
