Williams Suit Carrier - must be MINT!!

Looking for a Clio Williams parcel shelf with suit carrier. It must be completely mint with no sagging at the edges and MUST be from a Williams 1. Ideally located in the North West of England or the seller must be willing to package it up properly (including COMPLETE protection of the edges) so that it can be posted.

whats the difference between the suit carriers?

I couldn't get one anywhere ended up with one from Austria where apparently all the clios had them at one point.

It is a slightly different shade of grey which is annoying but not sure whether that is due to age or what.

Mine had sagging edges but I just bodged a repair to it and it looks fine imo.

The Williams 1 has the Mk1 clio suit carrier which was also used in the Clio Bacarra. The material used is almost like a carpet material which is quite soft to the touch. The carrier is quite heavy which means that, even if its not got anything in it, the pressure points are near where the lifting straps are and subsequently the carrier breaks in these areas. Most are badly repaired underneath. The later carriers are made from a different material which is stiffer and shorted haired and hence the later ones tend to last a lot better over time.

I've seen a few and they have all been repaired so far.

I think the Mk1 carrier also has an extra strap over the later versions.
