Anyway, fancy a meet at JJB/Trafford Centre in March? Been ages since I last made one....
yeah I'd be up for that, but lets make it a club meet... could call it 172 vs Williams to goad people into coming... all we need to do now is rub them up the wrong way about rusting arches and newer automatically meaning better and faster! lol

hehe, you may laugh, but it was honestly that bad. As soon as the throttle was tickled it would be instant grief! Soft cut limiter at 7200rpm... verbal one came in at around half that!
im laughin cus i know the feeling haha i get it when she sees me tighten the harness haha or she sees me staying in gear longer lol

just to add, 9th is a monday, not sure if thats been mentioned already, but I'm guessing this is the 8th on the Sunday? If so and we get a poor turnout I think we should meet up with the CS lot and gate crash their Hollingsworth lake meet... it's not that far from JJB, about 25 mins drive.

When I was with Laura we had a number of blasts and I'd always give her a few second headstart before getting on the gas and would be passing her by the end of the gear... and with quite a bit of momentum. This was with her Ph1, Ph2 and her mates Cup. Her cars both had exhaust, decats and one had a Maxogen too.

Been talking with God's son and he said/suggested we go for a run up the Cat and Fiddle? There is a pub somewhere up along there and could stop for lunch.
I wont be driving competitivley but it will be a good run for those that do.
So was going to say meet @ 12. Look around the cars for half an hr or so.... Run up to the pub say an hr or so 13:30. Have lunch take some picks then piss off home.

Jamie - we certainly are lad ;) We'll invite the CS lot if you like, maybe have two groups for the run, as we can have one for the nutcases, and another for anyone else who just wants a chilled drive out in the hills?
2 live - to be fair not everyone here is going to keep their Williams forever... you can probably understand why I got rid of mine! lol
Nathan - good to meet you and your dad, make sure you both come to the next meet, hopefully be a bit more going on and if yours isn't ready you can always jump in with one of us fella. My passenger seat is free these days as I'm no longer with the killjoy verbal limiter :lol:

Would have come to this if didn't have the whole wheel may fall off issue :lol: Last time was over your way did have to get AA out to fix the throttle cable on the way back at Ribbleshead Viaduct :roll:
Will come next time though. Doesn't seem to be many of us over in North Yorkshire/North East so only way will get a meet is with you NW lot plus don't mind the drive over anyway its only 1 hour 30 to Manchester.

Hollingworth lake about 1hour 15 so not bad to get to.
We should sort one out for a run round Buttertubs near Hawes, Yorkshire Dales that is a good road - Clarkson loves it - its the road he took his Cossie on 8)
