OMG! This movie flagrantly plagiarises every single kung fu cliche you can think of - and I love it!!
Totally tongue in cheek OTT action, made me PMSL all the way through.
Crouching Tiger and Hero looked great but you had to put up with all the arty-farty nonsense too. Matrix had some pretty cool fight scenes but they were interspersed with bits of increasingly sanctimonious plot-line.
Kung Fu Hustle blows any of these films away, and the best thing is there's no compromise - just a good-old-fashioned watery thin plot and lots of Chinese people skillfully beating the crap out of each other.
