are any available for the williams/valver?

i see they make them for a 172/182, but they're different if i remember?

depending on the gearbox strap used the strap needs shortening by a few mm everything else the holes etc line up...

no the willy one needs a few mm removing to clear the 172 mounts...4th gearbox mounts

coops dogbone fits without mods..

Wats the 4th mount that people add? Is that the coops dogbone? Want new engine mounts for mine so just new standard then there are no uprated items apart from you can fit the 172 gearbox mount by modding the strap? Sorry for all the questions i am new to Willy ownership so dont know a great deal about them.

The dogbone is one of the 3 standard mounts. You can replace the rubber in the standard version with a poly bush (Powerflex do them, for example). The 'Coops' version replaces the dogbone with a bar with rose joints at either end to directly locate the box.

The 4th mount is the name given to an extra mount that sits on the front of the subframe. The parts are taken from the Renault 19 as this mount was never standard on the Clios but there are holes in the subframe that allow the R19 item to just be bolted on.

Not talking about the 4th mount underneath the gearbox.

I was talking about the mount under the battery. So i think everyone is saying that the 2 K-Tec uprated mounts can be used directly on a williams (JC5 boxed 16v) ???

ahh right so if i got new mounts, a coops dogbone and the r19 4th mount, things would be pretty solid :)

Have seen on here a mount that can be used instead of the dogbone off a R5 is this better or is the coops dogbone better?

Can a 172 mount be used as mentioned then by modifying the strap and which mount is this? The mount under the battery tray?

just looked mate sorry..

but they seam a lot different at least the one under the battery tray looks like it might be too think to fit but not a 100% sure...
