this car would make a great show car for 09 because hes lost interest in it now cus hes had a works van so it jus sits on hes drive. Shame really because it really turns heads. This car has never wanted for anything and he takes the wheels off n that to clean it????

Try not to be too harsh on the chap, its not his car but he is doing a favour and helping to try and sell the car - not to take a grilling off us lot :lol:
To be fair though fella I don't think you'll get much interest off here, kits are generally frowned upon!

TBF its not that bad, the wheels suit it and at least the sideskirts help hide the usual rusty sills and arches!... the only thing i don't like is the rear bumper, other than that it looks sa darn sight better than some of the sorry neglected willys on here haha...
I must say i disagree with most of the comments above this looks like it is very well kept and in great condition BUT... after giving him a call i think £4800 is asking over double its value..
Although he did state he would take offers on 4800 my offer of £2000 was not replied to lol
I have seen mk1 cup cars and real restored williams go for less

2k :shock: im not surprised he didnt txt u bk u now the cars gota b worth more than tha! i now theres a credit crunch n all tha but thas jus taking the mick mate tbh. 4800 may b 2 much the way the market is at the moe bu 2k hes givin it away 4 tha! hes got make abit of money bk. if u ave a propa chat with him he'll tell u whats been change/done 2 the car, hes got a massive folder full of recipts/pics, it does go a little bit further than jus chuckin some paint on it alot further!!
the kit is not hiding any rust anywhere its a good solid car
admitidly it is worth over 2k but that offer was to bring him down from 4.8 lol other people on this and other forums are selling mint factory williams for 2.5k 4.8 is just not sensible thats all
It doesn't matter how much work he's had done to it mate, it's the body kit and mods which is bringing the value down. If he returned it to standard then it might fetch close to what he's asking, especially with a genuine 40k miles, and it does look very clean. I doubt he will get much more than 2.5k in it's current guise, I may be wrong though.....good luck with the sale anyway

it would cost too much to put it to standard - i'm afraid its goosed now and he'll be waiting for that one person who likes it if he's after that much..
£2,700 is about as high as I could possibly see it fetching

the kit was put on the car when the chap got it brand new! its always had the kit all its life. apperently it was the 1st ever williams with a kit bu i duno.....?? when my mate got it he jus had it all resprayed n tidyed it up with many new parts. the car well sell for more when some1 tha likes tha kind of thing sees it. its not me 4 its not 4 u hey hoe i just put it on ere 2 try n get him some interest 4 him cuz hes not got a comp!!!

BO! eeeeeeeer me now...
there was one with the same kit on ebay a while back, the guy wanted 3200 for it back then and it was on ebay for over a year.
Much like that reshelled yellow williams that the guy is trying to sell for silly money.
Gl with the sale though, there is always a buyer out there they just have to find you
