ok so ive had my coilovers on for a few weeks now and ive noticed more body roll with them over my old williams shocks and apex springs, any reason why this would be? are higher poundage springs needed?

How is the dampening set, try stiffening them up and see how they go.

Otherwise new springs if they are old, or higher poundage.

Can get 2 springs for about £30 from rally design iirc

do they have adjustable dampening?

may be in need of a refurb in worst case scenario.

no they dont i dont think, they are in real good condition and felt solid compared to standard shocks just pushing them down but thats hardly a good comparreson lol

how do you know the shocks are not bust ?
that would certainly explain the roll

How does the car feel? How harsh is it over bumps nd holes etc? If if goes all over the place and feels like you've been hit with a hammer, AND its all over the place with roll I would take one off and check it.

Have you actually lowered the car? Are there any odd knocks and bangs going over bumps etc?

Some shocks can be set by damping to be softer tha standard.

shouldnt roll anywhere near as much mate, my williams rolls all over, the turbo on coilies is planted like anything compared

and both are a tad bit better than my old mk4 polo

it really doesnt feel like they are bust they feel fine it just has a little more roll to it. going over speed bumps ect its fine weird to explain i need someone else to drive it i think.

Seals could be ****ed, resulting in having next to no dampening, and bouncing like ****, if not try new springs, can be had cheap as you like from rally design

i have FK's too so much better than standard shocks and lowering springs, almost non existent body roll. yet is much quieter (in volume and ride) over the bumpy bits than my other one on lowering springs..
