There is a 60% chance that i can obtain the above wheels BRAND NEW, for around £100 each. They are the wheels used on the Group A and group N Williams and Clio 16S factory rally cars. They came in 15 X 6.5 and 16 by 7.25 fitment. Some cars ran centre caps.
Here is a pic of some second hand ones i tried to buy in Europe. The orange around the outside is just a rim protector.

If anyone would be interested please let me know. I repeat, these wheels are brand new. I am trying to get a set for myself and while i am there i can probably pick up a set / sets for others.
Excellent price for the genuine article!!
I had the Prima (identical) replicas of these on my 16v about 2 years back (think Winston did too) and they really look the part...more-so if you are lucky enough to have an iceberg silver 16v!
I will say beware of curbs though...
How are they different to our speedlines?
Are ours 15 x 6.5?
And does anyone have any photos of a williams with these on?
No more questions :roll:

Your std williams alloys are 15 x 7 - the ones pictured above area completely different style what with the spokes sticking out further. IIRC these were designed only for the rally cars and are extremely light...in the case of the 16" version, they offer increased grip too.

I was told by several people that you do need them. Otherwise they won't fit. On the rear 35 mm and the front 15 mm.

Well i never needed spacers for the Prima versions. I'm aware that the maxi had a different hub setup (so offset) but IIRC that'd only apply to the 17" speedline version of these wheels.

The prima wheels do not need a spacer, i have checked.

That's because Prima made them for street cars and Speedline made them for rally cars.
From pure clio 16v drivers site;
"These beautiful Renault Sport wheels made by Speedline aren't available to privates, but only to racing rally teams, that can buy more than a single set. They're available in 6,5Jx15 and 7,25Jx16 both ET 53 mm, in magnesium or light alloy only. The mounting is specific for Rally Group A Clios because of the complete different axles, so in order to use them in street Clios, you need special spacers that restore the original ET of 36 mm and that permit the centering of 0,1 mm major than the original wheels; of course you'll also need longer bolts."
ive heard they catch as well 2 lives any more info kid
not realy m,ate lol.was just curious thats all
